  2. On an outside edge
2 Skate forward on alternate feet, stroking from the side of the foot.
3 Skating forward perform a sitting position on one leg (little man on one leg) - hips level with knees.
4 Skate forward and without stopping turn to backwards, continuing with a backward snake pattern to a backward stop. Turns to be performed both clockwise and anti-clockwise. (Any turn executed without stopping is acceptable).
5 Push backwards from wall/barrier and balance on alternate feet for a minimum of 3 seconds on each foot.

2 Perform from rest a forward inside edge on alternate feet, with free leg extended behind, stopping between strokes
3 Perform a forward change of edge, demonstrating a full understanding of the edges skated. (State starting edge).
4

Continuous forward run movement in a circle, both clockwise and anti-clockwise:

  1. CROSSED -The new tracing foot crossing the old.
  2. UNCROSSED - the new tracing foot is aimed alongside the toe of the employed foot.

Foxtrot movement - LFO, RFI Run, LFO with free leg swinging to front, RFO, LFI Run, RFO with free leg swinging to front. (if skating on a narrow floor, corner steps can be adapted to LFO, RFI Run, LFO, RFO with free leg swinging to front).

4 Toe Push (Bunny Hops) and Mazurka Jumps. (A mazurka jump is any toe assisted linking jump step).
Should be done on alternate feet
