Membership Benefits

| Senior Member: - |

With full voting rights at General Meetings,
subscriptions due annually on the anniversary of the joining
date. There is no "joining fee" and paid up members
can take full advantage of the FARS organisation including entry
into competitions and proficiency tests [appropriate competition
and test fees extra]. |
| Junior Member: - |
| |
Junior membership is provided for those members
who have not attained the age of 18 on the first of January
in the year of joining or renewal of membership. A junior member
has no right of vote at General Meetings. |

| Club Membership: - |
| |
Any of number of skaters or supporters may form
a Club with rules and conditions as defined by FARS and thereby
apply for an Affiliated Club Membership. Membership and organisational
details have to be submitted to FARS each year. Renewal is on
an annual basis.
Affiliated Clubs are entitled to send representatives to FARS
General Meetings and those representatives are allowed one vote
only on behalf of the Club they represent.

| Skating School Accreditation:

Professionally formed Skating Schools with qualified
teachers/coaches are recognised by FARS provided they meet the
criteria set down. Any skating school that can meet the conditions
and pays the appropriate fee can be fully approved by FARS and
enjoy skater credit notation at events, media information and
is listed in all appropriate documentation. A School does not
qualify for a right to vote at General Meetings. |
| ATD Membership: - |
| |
The Artistic Trainers Division membership is
an extension to the Senior membership and requires an annual
supplementary fee to be paid in addition to the annual Senior
membership fee. Membership of this Division is restricted to
trainers both professional and amateur and entitles an ATD member
to participate in workshop and seminar activities. The activities
are defined as technical in respect to all aspects of Roller
Skating. |
