By joining FARS, you get all the membership benefits listed below, with the additional knowledge that you will be supported in your development within our fantastic sport, whilst having great fun artistic roller skating, and know that your subscription fees goes towards helping the sport grow. 

There are several membership categories you can choice to join  FARS as detailed below. 

Affiliated Club Membership

Affiliated Clubs have the benefits of:

• Entitled to send representatives to FARS General Meetings with a vote for the Club they represent.

• Entitled to hold Annual Club Competition within the confines of the FARS organisational process and procedures.

• Access to the FARS representatives such as Judges and Calculators

Any number of skaters or supporters may form a Club with rules and conditions as defined by FARS and thereby apply for an Affiliated Club Membership. Membership and organisational details have to be submitted to FARS each year. Renewal is on an annual basis .

Skating School Accreditation

Professionally formed Skating Schools with qualified teachers/coaches are recognised by FARS provided they meet the criteria set down. Any skating school that can meet the conditions and pays the appropriate fee can be fully approved by FARS and enjoy skater credit notation at events, media information and is listed in all appropriate documentation. A School does not qualify for a right to vote at General Meetings.

Senior Membership

This category is designed for Senior Artistic Roller Skaters. The benefits of Senior Membership are:

• Full voting rights at General Meetings

• Entry into FARS Competitions

• Entry into International Events and Competitions (selection criteria dependant)

• Entry application to proficiency tests

• Entry participation to FARS organised training days

• Accident Insurance

There is no “joining fee” with subscriptions due annually on the anniversary of joining.

Senior Membership = £29.50

Junior Membership

This category is designed for Junior Artistic Roller Skaters, those skaters whom have not attained the age of 18 on the first January in the year of joining or renewing membership. The benefits of junior Membership are:

• Entry into FARS Competitions

• Entry into International Events and Competitions (selection criteria dependant)

• Entry application to proficiency tests

• Entry participation to FARS organised training days

• Accident Insurance

There is no “joining fee” with subscriptions due annually on the anniversary of joining.

Junior Membership = £20.00
