Jocelyn Taylor-Moore

Jocelyn started skating in 1946 where very quickly she started to excel in the sport. She was invited by the National Skating Association of Great Britain to appear on live television in 1954 to demonstrate her skills. Later in that year she also appeared on television on ice! In 1955 Jocelyn enjoyed success as a Roller Skating performer touring the World in a USA show production. Later in her career, she held the position of Vice President of I.R.S.T.A. (International Roller Skating Trainers Association)

Jocelyn also passed her Gold Tests in Dance, Figures and Free Skating and Pair Skating

Coaching Career

Jocelyn’s career coaching her pupils has amassed over 100 British Championship titles in all disciplines. As well as British she has also coached World Dance Champions, and numerous medal places at World and European events again covering all disciplines.
Jocelyn has also coached in the USA, Germany and Australia.

Honours

Jocelyn was awarded Honorary life membership of our Governing body in 1988 for her services to Roller Skating.
