Whilst this is a matter of Law, it is also because FARS cares about the welfare of its Members, especially the young ones. With this in mind we advise all Members including Clubs, Trainers/Coaches and Parents not to participate in any event or activity organised by any Club, Federation or Organisation other than FARS (however impressive the title) unless they are completely satisfied with the credentials of the organisers.
We advise you to be wary of all notices relating to any such event and not to agree to take part without being fully satisfied that proper Child Protection Policies are in place and that CPU Certification is held by anyone either inviting you to participate in their event or proposing to take part in the running of such an event. If the names of FARS Members are advertised on notices, we suggest you check whether they have actually agreed to their names being displayed.
Should you be invited to take part in any Event outside FARS jurisdiction and you have any doubts at all, do not hesitate to contact FARS Office where you will be put in touch with the FARS Child Protection Unit who will advise as necessary.
